Several international students plan to continue their studies at POLYTECHNIQUE Monastir, which provides them with quality educational support thanks to its high-level faculty, always attentive to students. Every year a welcome day is prepared for international students to present the university and its environment.

Home Service

POLYTECHNIQUE Monastir provides international students with a reception and information service providing them with advice and assistance. He is responsible for welcoming students upon their arrival at the airport, providing follow-up, information and advice. He ensures that the administrative procedures (Residency card) are finalized, the installation (reservation of accommodation) and the resolution of any problems that they may encounter throughout their training. He is in direct contact with external organizations as well as embassies and consulates.

Social service

POLYTECHNIQUE Monastir provides international students with a medical service which monitors their health and ensures the management and development of preventive medicine (vaccinations, medical examinations, etc.) in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health. Membership in individual health and accident insurance is compulsory for international students in order to cover the risks of illness and accident during the duration of their stay in Tunisia. 

Formalities:

Admission 

To obtain the registration certificate, the student must send their file by email including:

  • a photocopy of the first three pages of your passport
  • Copy of your BAC diploma
  • Copy of transcript
  • registration fees: 150 euros
Prepare the visa

The student must contact the Consulate of Tunisia in his country of origin or failing that in a neighboring country with a Tunisian representation, with his file Two identity photographs

  1. Three visa forms provided by the Tunisian Consulate
  2. A photocopy of the first 3 pages of the passport
  3. A photocopy of the pre-registration certificate issued by the University.

A visa is not required for nationals of the following Maghreb countries and African countries: Ivory Coast, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal.

Arriving in Tunisia

On arrival, they must present to the border police authorities your passport, study visa (if required), your registration certificate and possibly proof of sufficient funds.

It is recommended to arrive in Tunisia at least a week before the start of the courses, because these few days will barely be enough for you to settle in and familiarize yourself with a new environment.
